Montessori Sandpaper letters
How wonderful are children's first meetings with letters!
The Montessori Sandpaper Letters are an amazing way to introduce young students to the shapes of ABC.
By tracing the lines and curves with the fingers kids remember the shape of each letter through the sensory sensation of touch.
The engraved picture below represents the initial sound of each letter.
These wooden tiles are handmade version of the classic Montessori sandpaper alphabet.
The cards are made out of birch plywood and measure 3.5 in x 5.5 in ( 9 cm x 14 cm).
Vowels are cut out from blue sandpaper and consonants from red.
Each tile has an engraved picture, representing the initial sound of the letter sign.
NOTE: for the X letter is given an ending sound picture of a T-rex
All 26 wooden letter cards come with a custom box with engraved lowercase manuscript alphabet on the front.
